República de El Salvador N34-183, Quito, Ecuador (“Ecadoro”), respects the privacy of the people who visit ecadoro.com and join its waiting list. This Policy describes which personal data we process, for what purpose, for how long, and which rights you can exercise as the data subject under Ecuador's Organic Law on the Protection of Personal Data (LOPDP) and its Regulation, in force since 2026.

We process the data you voluntarily provide when subscribing to the newsletter (name and email), browsing data collected via analytical and advertising cookies and, where applicable, the data you send us when you contact our team. We do not request sensitive data.
We use your data to send you information about new real estate crowdlending projects in Ecuador, commercial communications about Ecadoro, educational content and industry news. We also use them to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and to improve the website.
The legal basis for processing is your express consent when ticking the form box and, where relevant, Ecadoro's legitimate interest to keep the site secure and to prevent online fraud.
We keep your data while your subscription is active. After you unsubscribe we retain them for a maximum of six (6) months to evidence the opt-out. Accounting and tax data are kept for seven (7) years as required by Ecuadorian law.
We share data with service providers acting as data processors: cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services, us-east-1 region), email delivery (Resend Inc., under standard contractual clauses) and analytics (Google LLC under Consent Mode v2). We never sell your data.
Some processors are located outside Ecuador. We secure these transfers with standard contractual clauses approved by Ecuador's Superintendence for the Protection of Personal Data.
You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion, objection, portability, restriction and not to be subject to automated decisions by writing to privacy@ecadoro.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Superintendence for the Protection of Personal Data (https://protecciondatos.gob.ec).
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures: TLS 1.3 encryption, encrypted backups, role-based access controls and regular data protection training for our team.
We may update this Policy to reflect regulatory or service changes. Any relevant change will be published on this page together with its effective date.
